Gain control over your drive with the TYGaligner®

To hit the ball straight

Align
Aim the TYGaligner®, your body and the club face at your target. Make the corridor between the pylons wide enough so you can swing between them without being too worried about hitting them, but not so wide that you have too much margin for error.

Swing
Swing through the corridor. If you hit one of the pylons off its mounting, you know where you went wrong. Put the pylon back on the mounting and try again.

Adjust
If you are swinging between the pylons and the ball still has a slight curve, you may want to adjust the corridor by moving the tee (and with it the tip of the TYGaligner®) a little to the right or left, as applicable, until the ball flies perfectly straight.

To hit a fade

Align
Align the TYGaligner® to the left of your target (if you are a right-hander, to the right of it if you are a lefty). This is called an "open" stance.

Swing
Swing perfectly normally between the pylons but keep the club face pointing to your target. How much curve you generate depends on how far to the left (right for lefties) you set up.

Adjust
If you find the ball flies straight out to the left (right) of the target without a curve, your club face is closed and not pointing at the target when you hit the ball.

To hit a draw

Align
Align the TYGaligner® to the right of your target (to the left for a lefty). "close" your stance to be in line with the TYGaligner®, but keep the club face pointing to your target (closed stance).

Swing
Now swing normally between the pylons for a draw. How much curve you generate depends on how far to the right (left for lefties) you set up.

Adjust
If the ball flies straight to the right (left) of the target without a curve, make sure your club face is pointing at the target when you hit the ball, and not "open" to the right (left).

The TYGaligner® for use with irons

Although our focus with the TYGaligner® is on helping people hit good drives from a tee,

it can also be very helpful in learning to hit good clean irons from the ground or a tee.

Use the TYGaligner® with irons from a tee

You can practice iron shots from the tee using the TYGaligner® in the same way as for woods.

Use the TYGaligner® with irons from the ground

Many amateur golfers have the problem with their irons of hitting the ground before the ball. This is known as "duffing".
To help solve this problem, turn the TYGaligner® around with the pylons at the front and the legs pointing to the target.
Put the ball on the grass between the legs of the TYGaligner®, just a touch behind the invisible line between the pylons.
Focus on taking your divot at this point in front of the ball when you swing to improve attack angle and ball striking.

Instructions for use

What golf players say about the TYGaligner®

"I was the king of the range, but my nerves always used to get the best of me when I started my round and suddenly what was so easy on the warm-up just went out the window. My wife got sick of my complaining about it and got me a TYGaligner®. I now use it to hit the last couple of shots on the range before heading to the first tee, and although I still get nervous, I know I'm gonna hit the ball straight, because I can see the correct swing arc right there on the grass in front of me. It's brilliant."
Thomas, Germany

the TYGaligner shows you how to hit the golf ball straight

"The whole game changes when you're hitting your second shot from the fairway all the time. You can focus all your practicing on hitting irons into the green. And then the pars and birdies start happening. All because a few swings with the TYGaligner® has me driving the ball straight."
Helena, Sweden

You can also use the TYGaligner to learn how to hit a draw, and how to hit a fade, and to eliminate first-tee jitters.

"All my life I have sliced the golf ball off the tee. Now, within days, I hit it straight thanks to the TYGaligner®. It's unfathomable to me how driving the ball straight is so easy with the TYGaligner®. Why wasn't this thing around 20 years ago?"
Grant, New Zealand

About us

Hi, my name is Wayne van Dalsum. I invented the TYGaligner® because I had tried everything to fix my slice, and nothing worked. My pro had great tips, but I wasn't able to integrate them into my swing without things just getting worse. I got so frustrated, I almost gave up the game. I just kept slicing balls into the forest or the lake or into groups of golfers on the neighbouring fairway. I couldn't get my handicap down below 25 because I lost so many balls.

One year after making this device, my handicap was 11. Seriously. And I saw so many golfers with the same problem that I patented the device and gave it a name and now people from all over are telling me about how the TYGaligner® changed the game for them. They aren't searching for lost balls as much anymore, which is speeding up play, so even people who don't have one are happy the TYGaligner®

exists. Clubs are using it as a prize in tournaments. Established pros are using the TYGaligner®. Ordinary amateurs are shaping draws and fades and buying more expensive balls because they aren't afraid of losing so many of them.

So, good news all-round.

Any questions about the TYGaligner®?
